The sealer is designed for sealing geophysical cables during geophysical surveys and other operations in active oil and gas wells. The sealing elements are rubber gaskets with manual pressure. Leakage of well fluid is drained through a drainage nozzle.

Works as part of wellhead equipment in wells with a wellhead pressure not exceeding P=14 MPa.
